What does MFBA do?

At Medical Face and Body Aesthetics, we offer very specific solutions to very specific areas of concern about your face and body that may have plagued you all of your life, most of your life, or even somewhat recently, as the natural changes of aging set in.  Although many of these changes are normal and expected in our lives, it doesn’t mean you have to live with them.

Why have I let it go this long?

Maybe what stopped you from pursuing this was having to go “under the knife” (undergoing a surgical procedure). Maybe the cost was prohibitive, if not outrageous. Maybe the recovery time was too long. Or, maybe you worried about a surgical complication.

Well, we at MFBA understand this, and that’s why we offer exciting alternatives to surgery and its high costs and risks.

What does MFBA offer for my face?

Here at MFBA we understand that you do not want to look like everybody else. In fact, the way you look is your own special signature or trademark.

Nevertheless, if you’re like most everybody, there may be one or more facial or body features of yours that you have not been entirely happy with. Maybe you've thought, “I wonder what I would look like if I just didn’t have [such and such] or if [this or that] were a little different."  Maybe you felt like your upper lip was almost nonexistent, or just wanted fuller lips. Maybe those smile lines near your mouth, the frown lines between your eyebrows, or the wrinkles on your forehead made you feel older.  Maybe the contour of your eyebrows make you look angry when you’re not, or maybe you feel like you’re “all gums” when you smile, or you feel that you have “no chin”.  Maybe there’s a special event coming up or a photography session approaching, for which you’d like to look your very best.

Botox and dermal fillers are temporary and reversible, so there are never any regrets.  After a period of time, you can go back to looking the way you did before, or you may decide to repeat the rejuvenation on an ongoing basis.  The choice is yours!

What does MFBA offer for my body?

In addition to facial cosmetics, we at MFBA also offer an exciting new alternative to liposuction.  This fairly new procedure called Mesotherapy or Lipodissolve has become very popular among Hollywood celebrities. Why? Again, it’s a nonsurgical approach with virtually no recuperation time, and it’s nearly painless. Most of all, though:  it works and it works well! 

By injecting a very safe and very benign substance right below the skin with very thin needles, the fat below the skin chemically dissolves away.  Lipodissolve is not a gimmick or a fad, but rather there’s a scientific and physiological reason why it works and works so well. As a physiologist, our Medical Director, Dr. Dave E. David, understands this very well.
Lipodissolve is not going to make you lose 50 pounds, but what it does do is to “forgive you” or “let you start over” in dissolving the fat in those problem areas of your body. 

Some people are most concerned with fat accumulation in their abdomen, love handles, buttocks, thighs or the “flab” that hangs down from under the upper arms.  Others may not like their double chin, due to fat in that area.  This is where Lipodissolve can make an incredible difference.  The fat is removed permanently, giving you a chance to “start over”, if you will.  Then with good eating habits and exercise, you can avoid it reaccumulating in that same area.

What about MFBA's procedures?

We at MFBA specialize in 3 procedures and 3 procedures only, feeling that a physician who performs a multitude of different procedures cannot be a specialist at everything just because the countless number of different procedures that are available all come under the blanket of “cosmetics.” Rather than try and be a “jack of all trades” and offer dozens of different procedures, we perform only nonsurgical injection therapy.

All of our procedures can be performed in an office setting in a matter of minutes, and you can drive yourself home, with almost no restrictions afterward, and with almost no pain whatsoever.

All of the cosmetic procedures at MFBA are performed by Dave E. David, M.D., himself, rather than delegating this responsibility to nurses, nurse practitioners or physician assistants.  Dr. David has been a surgeon for nearly 30 years, and as a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, has become very familiar with the intricacies, subtleties and the needs of women’s bodies.  Having taught Anatomy at the university level for the last 7 years, Dr. David understands the architecture of our bodies very well.  Also, having taught Physiology at the university level, also for the last 7 years, he understands in depth, the function of the human body and the mechanism of action of procedures such as Lipodissolve.
